“RU” is the name of the new show where a 38year old woman ( played by the award winning actress Meryem Uzerli ) lives love with an 18year old (Burak Berkay Akgül)
The drama RU premiers on the 22nd of May in Istanbul and will go on air two days later ( 24th of May ) on the streamer GAIN.
After the release in turkey, the negotiations about selling RU world wide, to other countries will start.
The show picks up the struggle about age difference , gender roles , societal issues , pressure , trust , friendship and the question about getting lost and finding ourselves again.
It’s a story about young adults, a mother and a daughter, a narcissistic husband, a son and his mother and not to forget the love story between Reyan and Uzer.
